Traditional Sunday Brunch

Restaurant Kanerva

Spa Hotel Päiväkumpu's Restaurant Kanerva (Kanerva = Heather) was named after the Finnish writer Zachris Topelius' book of poems “Heather”, published in 1889. In the autumn, blooming heather on Päiväkumpu grounds delights our guests with its colourful splendour. According to what's said locally, the tree featured in Topelius' story “The Birch and the Star" is also on Päiväkumpu's grounds.

Our Sunday lunch has already become a tradition

Restaurant Kanerva is known throughout the region for its good food and friendly service. Our covered terrace gives spectacular views over Lake Lohja and on our rooftop terrace, open in the summer, you can enjoy the sun and good food at the same time. On the rooftop, you can also play minigolf or simply relax with a drink.

People come to Restaurant Kanerva's Sunday buffet again and again from far afield, such that Päiväkumpu's Sunday brunch has become an essential part of the manor and historic works day trip circuit in Western Uusimaa.
